Frequently Asked Questions
Can I combine a promo code with other savings?
Only one promo code works per order. Auto applied brand deals can sometimes layer with a sitewide code, while insurance benefits generally can't combine with promo codes but can layer with rebates.
How do manufacturer rebates work?
The lens maker pays rebates after purchase, not at checkout. You get an emailed form after your order ships, mail it in with proof of purchase, and a check arrives in 6 to 8 weeks.
What if I find a lower price elsewhere?
If an authorized retailer sells the same lenses for less, start a chat and share the lower price. 1-800 Contacts will beat it.
Why isn't my code working?
Common causes are an expired code, an unmet minimum spend, a first order code used on an existing account, or a typo, since codes are case sensitive.
Can I return or exchange contacts?
Unopened boxes can be swapped or refunded through customer service by phone or chat, even if you chose free shipping. First orders also include free exchanges.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Upload your prescription with your order, or renew it through the online vision exam if it has lapsed.
