Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to return something?
Full refunds run 30 days from purchase, and merchandise credit runs 60 days. Online orders get 7 extra days. Items must be unworn and unwashed with tags attached, and Final Sale items can't be returned.
How fast will I get my refund?
Real Rewards members can take instant credit as an e-gift card when they start a return. Refunds to the original payment take 2 to 4 weeks, then 5 to 7 business days to appear.
Do points disappear if I return an item?
Yes. Points earned on returned or exchanged items are deducted, and returns made after a reward is issued can leave a negative balance.
What do online returns cost?
Mailed returns are $5. They are free for Aerie bras, bralettes, swimsuits, Level 3 members, and credit cardmembers, and returns in any AE or Aerie store are free.
What does shipping cost under $75?
Standard shipping is a $7.95 flat rate below $75. Two day shipping is $15 and overnight is $25.
Do rewards expire?
Dollar Off Rewards expire 60 days after they are issued. Points stay active as long as you make a qualifying purchase within any 375 day period.
