When can I start using my plan?
Homeowner plans last 13 months, which covers a 30 day waiting period followed by 12 months of coverage. Real estate plans have no waiting period.
Does AHS cover older systems and appliances?
Yes. Coverage applies regardless of age, and no inspection or maintenance records are required. A breakdown that was visibly present before coverage began may not qualify.
What do I pay each time I request a repair?
Every service request carries a non-refundable fee of $100 or $125, which you choose at purchase. Weigh it alongside any plan discount, since it applies to each covered repair visit.
Can I cancel and get my money back?
Yes, at any time. Within the first 30 days, AHS refunds agreement fees minus service and claims costs. After that, the refund is prorated, minus an administrative fee of up to one month's payment where state law allows.
