Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to return a purchase?
Most items can be exchanged or refunded within 60 days with valid proof of purchase. After 60 days, returns are accepted on an inspection basis only. Used gas-powered items and drones are ineligible.
Does the discount for service members apply to firearms?
Verified members get 5% off firearms and ammunition and 10% off other eligible merchandise. Wildlife agents can't verify online but can use the discount at a retail store.
Can I return an online order in a store?
Yes, at any Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's store. If you paid with PayPal, a store can only exchange the item or refund it as a gift card.
Who pays for return shipping?
Bass Pro covers it when an item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong because of its own mistake. Otherwise a mailed return may carry a label fee, so returning in store is the cheaper route.
