Frequently Asked Questions
What counts toward the free shipping minimum?
Shipping, handling, and taxes do not count toward the $15 minimum, and free shipping is dropped if you switch away from Standard. Orders under $15 pay $1.99 per item on standard shipping from US facilities.
Will I pay to send a book back?
Better World Books can charge a processing fee or return shipping fee when the return is not its error, and new items carry a processing fee. Shipping and processing fees you already paid are not refunded.
How long do I have to return a book?
Most items can be returned within 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Used books need the original SKU sticker, and new items must be unused with seals intact.
Can points be added to an earlier order?
No. Points are not awarded for purchases made before your rewards account existed, so sign up before ordering. Earning rises from 8 to 10 points per dollar as yearly spending passes $75 and $200.
