What can't be price matched?
Clearance and closeout items, bundles, and items with a rebate, coupon or promotional credit are excluded. Requests after 7 days don't qualify, and approved matches are issued as a Customer Care card.
Do marketplace sellers follow the same return rules?
No. Marketplace sellers can set their own return terms. Check the seller profile and the Warranty & Returns tab on the product page before you buy.
Does Newegg offer a military discount?
Not at the moment. The older military program has been discontinued, and Newegg doesn't currently partner with ID.me or GovX.
Will I be charged a restocking fee?
A 15% fee can apply to opened hard drives, motherboards, graphics cards, projectors and TVs. New and unopened returns, and items that arrive damaged or defective, aren't charged.
Do I need approval before sending something back?
Yes. Every return needs an RMA number approved by Newegg, and the number must be listed on the package.
