Frequently Asked Questions
Are San Diego Zoo tickets refundable?
No. 1-Day Pass Any Day tickets are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable, but they stay valid for one year from purchase, so an unused ticket is not lost.
How do I use the AAA discount?
Show a valid AAA card at any ticket window, year round. The 10% applies to the 1-Day Pass and covers up to six people per card.
Can my admission ticket count toward a membership?
Yes. Present a 1-Day Pass or 2-Visit Pass and the receipt at a ticket window on the visit date, or within 7 days, to apply it toward a qualifying membership.
Can I combine a Value Days ticket with other discounts?
No. Value Days tickets are online only, need advance purchase, and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. The 2-Visit Pass carries the same restriction.
Do children need a ticket during Kids Free October?
Not at ages 11 and under, but each child needs an adult 18 or older with a valid form of entry. Children ages 2 and under are free all year.
