Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to return an order?
You can return an order within 30 days of the purchase date with your sales receipt or packing slip. Tervis refunds the sale price and tax, but not shipping charges.
What if a return drops my order below the free shipping line?
If your order received free shipping but no longer qualifies after the return, Tervis refunds the item price minus the shipping charge valued at your new order subtotal.
Can I return a personalized item?
No. Personalized and customized items are non refundable. Non defective returns must also come back in new, unused condition with the original packing materials.
How long do refunds take?
A refund is credited 5 to 7 days after the return is processed. Mail in returns are processed within 30 days of when Tervis receives them.
Do I need to register for the guarantee?
No. Tervis says registration is not required to submit a lifetime guarantee replacement request. Classic insulated drinkware carries a lifetime guarantee, and stainless steel carries a limited guarantee.
