Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly do ReadingRewards points add up?
Free members earn 8 points per dollar on used books and 4 on new. Spending $75 in a year moves you up a tier, which raises used book earnings to 10 points per dollar.
What if my order arrives late?
A refund for a delayed US order is considered only if it has not arrived within 20 days of ordering. ThriftBooks makes that call case by case.
Can I return a book I simply changed my mind about?
Returns are guaranteed only for ThriftBooks errors, such as a damaged or incorrect book, requested within 30 days of delivery. Get authorization first, since unapproved returns are not accepted.
Does the condition grade matter for gifts?
Yes. Grades run from Like New to Acceptable, and lower grades can show more wear or markings. Check the grade before buying a copy you plan to give away.
