Frequently Asked Questions
How does a UWorld refund work?
Requests are evaluated case by case, and the amount UWorld determines is final. The refund is based on days elapsed or questions used, whichever creates the higher deduction.
Which products are nonrefundable?
USMLE Step 2 CS, Step 3 CCS, Subject Reviews, and Self-Assessment exams are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and they cannot be converted into another subscription.
What about purchases made through Apple?
Refund and credit requests for Apple in-app purchases go through Apple directly rather than UWorld.
When do I need to ask for a refund?
Notify UWorld before you activate your subscription or while it is active. No refund is allowed once you use the reset option or use all of the questions.
Can I extend a subscription?
Yes. UWorld lists renewal prices by duration on the product page, including 30, 60, 90, 180, and 360 day options for Step 1.
