Frequently Asked Questions
Why did my Viking promotion code fail?
The offer window may have closed, the sailing may already be discounted, or the code may be limited to certain itineraries, cabin categories, or past guests.
Can I spend Explorer Society credit on the ship?
No. Travel credits only reduce cruise fare, not onboard spending. You are enrolled automatically after sailing with Viking, and you should give your customer number when you book.
How much is the deposit?
It depends on the promotion you book under. Viking's booking terms say the deposit amount and payment schedule are based on the promotion, and your invoice shows both.
What if I cancel?
Cancellation fees apply per passenger and rise as departure gets closer. Read the booking terms before paying, especially on a discounted promotion.
