Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a refund?
Yes. Email support@hamrick.com within 7 days of buying, for any reason, or use the contract withdrawal form. Hamrick usually processes refunds in a day or two, and your copy then watermarks scans again.
What happens when I cancel a subscription?
It stays active until the end of the billing period, then stops working. Canceling does not refund earlier payments.
Can I use one license on more than one computer?
The Basic Edition covers one computer you personally own. Business, school, government, or scanning service use needs a separate license for each computer.
Does a one time purchase include updates?
It includes free updates for 1 year. You can keep using any version released in that year indefinitely, and the VueScan Update Program is available if you want updates afterward.
Can I try VueScan before buying?
Yes. The trial runs without a time limit and lets you test most Professional Edition features, but its scans carry a watermark that cannot be removed later.
